Home, a good place to go to school

Recently graduated from college? Then you are probably getting loads of advice about what to do next. Mom wants you to go to college. Dad wants you to work. Your friends want you to travel. Whatever. Some people say that these days you can do all three if you do distance learning degree. It's so confusing!

I've been surfing for information on online degrees and distance learning degrees, but it all seems geared towards working adults. What I want to know is, is it possible to do an online degree when you're still young enough to have fun, ie straight after high school graduation? That's what I plan to find out.

I've been doing a ton of research about the whole distance learning degree thing, and I'm blown away by the number of online degrees available. The cool thing is you can start with an associate's degree, which means you don't have to be going grey and wearing slacks to do them. I need to find out more about the workload though. You don't want to be freaked out by the work when you're straight out of high school.

Well, the good news is, an online degree isn't as weird as it sounds. Whatever the reason you don't want to go to an ordinary school, you can still get everything you want out of study. There are so many online colleges desperate to get you, you just fill in an online form with your GED and what you want to do, and they'll tell you what online degrees they offer. You access the information online whenever you want and you keep in touch with your tutor and fellow students by email and chatrooms. No one will ever see you fall asleep in class again!
