Overview
In one year, students experience as many as 48 different types of healing modalities, which we call Allied Modalities. Students can design their massage certification program to target a specific niche or they can purse a generalist track. A Gathering Place Massage School staff is helpful and flexible to assist you in meeting your needs.
The class sizes in our massage therapy programs are kept small, so there is more time for attention from your instructors. We create a family atmosphere" at A Gathering Place Massage School; our students and staff live the experience of "We Really Care!" And this filters out to all we do at school and in the community! So if you’re researching massage schools in Missouri, start with us!
A Gathering Place has at the core of its purpose:
- To educate the community, developing awareness of ways to facilitate healing and wholeness in body, mind and spirit
- To demonstrate the therapeutic benefits of massage
- To graduate responsible, professional massage therapists who can serve and educate the community
- To prepare students to successfully pass the national massage therapy exam, sponsored by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB)
- Our students continually demonstrate these goals as they successfully pass their National Boards. We have a 93% Pass Ratio (cumulative) on National Boards!
