Maintenance Engineering (ME) - 11 Week Course

The Maintenance Engineering 11-week resident course is AIB's most comprehensive maintenance engineering program. In a short eleven weeks, you will learn technical skills critical to being able to effectively manage a maintenance department.

There is a distinct difference between AIB's program and learning similar skills exclusively through on-the-job training or by attending a vocational-technical school. AIB designed and updates this course based on what people who run food processing and other heavily-automated companies say they want. Each year, AIB staff have face-to-face meetings with people who know firsthand what their companies want when they hire maintenance staff. So, whether you already work for such a company or want a career with one, you know that when you successfully complete the ME 11-week course, you'll have the skills they want. By attending AIB's ME 11-week course, you will improve your shot at advancing your career or get on track for a new, rewarding one.

You will learn by being immersed in maintenance engineering. Each day, four hours of work in the classroom are followed by four hours of work in the lab. During the program, you will master critical skills related to mathematics, physics, and all types of equipment maintenance. At the end of 11 weeks, you will be prepared to help a company maximize equipment life and reduce operating costs.
