If you engage in one of these cosmetology training programs you will learn all aspects of cutting and styling for both men and women through the manipulation of scissors, razors and clippers. You will not only learn about things such as hair spa treatment (condition / color / perm), hairstyle and finish, but you will also have to understand and learn about organization and communication skills if you are looking to become a salon management, hair colorist, artistic director, photo stylist, makeup artist, or educator.
Other techniques are shaving techniques that define the barber industry. Some programs take only four to six weeks to complete, after that initial training you will be prepared to design and cut from the traditional to the most up-to-date hair designs including European hair techniques.
