First, you should know that in many reputable companies, the entry level position for a college graduate is either an associate or an analyst. Earning a business degree with a focus on project management will allow you to pick up the skills necessary to become a functional analyst while also learning leadership techniques that will prepare you for project management roles down the road.

If you want to earn a project management degree, but can't afford to go back to school full time, you might consider enrolling in an online business degree programs. There are a number of reputable distance learning institutions that offer business degrees with a focus on project management. Working professionals like these programs because the academic flexibility associated with online learning allows them to better balance their career responsibilities with their schoolwork.
