Learn about Restaurant and Hotel Management. What is a Hospitality Career?

Careers in hospitality are those, which offer a service in terms of food, drink, and or lodging to others. In general, this includes all food outlets from burger bars to Michelin starred restaurants. Companies offering accommodation also come into this category; motels through to 5 star deluxe accommodation in top international hotels and of course everything in between. If you enjoy making a difference and providing a service to others, then a culinary education could be just what you have been looking for. You could train at culinary college to become a Maître d'hôtel, or restaurant manager. Your education at culinary institute should ensure that you are taught the skills required to manage and operate a hotel or restaurant efficiently and profitably. Everything, as they say, from soup to nuts!
